The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

So a while ago i uploaded a rough cut of my final project on youtube.

I'm still not satisfied but I have learnt from it. I wanted to deal with an abstract story and a sifferent/strange/weird style.. I don't know if that's a good thing.

I haven't read the previous journals or saw the previous cuts but this one seems to be amaazzing! for some reason I really loved it. The eye movements with the closeups were a "trademark" stamp that it was done by you! The movie seems to be abstract in a sense that makes you think and be more curious and maybe even each person can have their own view of the story, but its not too abstract that you can get the main idea and the audience can see and perhaps live the unspoken "agony" of the character. i know i wrote a lot but little cant be just said about that movie

Did i get it right? the concept about loosing sight?

I'm really glad you liked it >.< I'm not really satisfied with it. It's not quite what I wanted to do but Inshallah soon I'll shoot other short films. Thank you so much again and your words have just made my day : )

الفكره بالنسبة لي الحين مفهومة أكثر و تمثيل الولد مقنع اكثر عن قبل
حبيت تصويرك للمشاهد يوم انه ما يشوف بطريقة واضحه ماعرف شو يسمونه بس هو شرا البوكيه ، لاكن كررت الشي وايد مع ذلك هالشي ما يقلل من روعة الفيلم بعد التعديل، و بعد الشي اللي حبيته التأثير الصوتي و خصوصا يوم ضرب الشيره و طلع الصوت بوووم لفت انتباهي و شدني اكثر
